The orchestra can be heard regularly on BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night, and for BBC Radio 3 it searches out the unusual and quirky, profiling classical masterpieces in an entertaining way. For TV, the orchestra has performed on the soundtracks of The Hunt, The Paradise and Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, among others, and on the big screen it can be heard in the film The Lady in the Van.”
GetOnMusicMedia is an agency that can bring you the world famous BBCCO for any event or festival outside of the UK. A recent example (see pictures above) being ‘Lights, Camera, Malta’ - a GetOnMusic-produced outdoor event delivered for the Malta Tourism Authority at The Granaries, Valetta, where the BBCCO performed classic soundtracks from movies and TV programmes filmed on location there. 10,000 people were in attendance, with very special guests and the evening compered by Charles Dance.
