Meet Our Creative Production Director

Rob Spring is a highly experienced events creative, with nearly two decades of experience in creative events production management and live event strategic planning.

Alongside his role as Director of Creative Production at GetOnMedia, Rob has held the position of Head of Programming for Apple since August 2017.
Prior to joining GetOnMedia, Rob was a critical member of the BBC’s Live Events team for 9 years. During this time, Rob was responsible for devising, implementing and project managing a range of pan-BBC events including event production and design, facility and venue bookings, event logistics, health and safety, licensing and liaison with event partners.
Rob’s time at the BBC included positions such as Executive Producer, Editor of Live Events, and culminated in Head of Live Music and Events for BBC Radio and Music, where he worked in conjunction with Jason Carter on various flagship events.
Rob led the creative delivery of projects including Radio 2 in Hyde Park, Proms In The Park, The Radio 1 Teen Awards, 1Xtra Live, 6Music Festival and Asian Network Live - which have featured Coldplay, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Elton John, Justin Timberlake, Jay Z and Muse, amongst many other global acts.


Throughout his time working in live events, Rob has gained recognition as one of the most innovative events and festival producers, with a track record in creating high quality audience experiences and stand-out moments such as Radio 1’s Big Weekends, the BBC Music Awards, and his leadership of the BBC Commonwealth Games concerts, Glasgow 2014.
